Detroit, détroit, a city with French origins and unrefined class. Home to Motown, Eminem and Kid Rock. At it's peak, it was the US's 5th most populous city and the automotive epicenter of the world. Today, the city sits nearly as a modern day ghost town. However, this doesn't mean it isn't an ideal tourist location. You just need to watch out for crack addicts, wild packs of dogs, and ghetto babies with rabies.
